Gas Discharge Tubes (GDT)
A discharge tube that can prevent lightning strikes, with strong surge protection ability, low junction capacitance, and high insulation resistance
Ceramic gas discharge tubes, GDTs (Gas Discharge Tubes), are enclosed devices composed of one or more discharge gaps filled with inert gas. Ceramic gas discharge tubes can withstand surges of up to hundreds of kiloamperes, and their specific electrical performance is closely related to factors such as gas type, internal electrode structure, gas pressure, and manufacturing process.
